Club Meeting and Party on July 11

We had a great time at Henry and Roz Garland’s home on July 11 for our pickleball club party.
Officers for next year were elected:
  • Rick Hooker President
  • Jamie Elliott  Vice-President
  • Bud Schwartz  Vice-President
  • Jeanette Stuart  Secretary/Treasurer
Thanks to Bubba Davis for serving the last two years as Vice-President.  He is going to be very busy this coming year as the new President of the AAFPO board.
We now have 53 club members. Pickleball is growing larger all across the nation.
The club voted to have an outside banner made that can be hung up when we go to tournaments and when we have an opportunity to hang one up here in town. Jamie, Sandy, Debra, and Claudette are working on this. Thanks for volunteering to help with this project.
Upcoming Tournaments:
Durango:  July 25 & 26.
Colorado Springs: Sept. 10-13.
Albuquerque: Sept. 18-20.
